New Deck - Day 37

Well, this doesn't look much different than yesterday...

oh... 

roof work today!

I took the basil out and left the kale, squash and potato

plants to see what happens in the cold weather.

I'll try covering some of them with glass... maybe?

Here is where the herbs

and lavender plants will spend the Winter.

They will be hanging out next to the swing

and Kristine's stuff.

Sunlight!!!

It is colder in the house than it is outside.

When I spotted the sun warming the floor I told Morgan

to lay down so I could take a photo.

It is dark outside too.

I had to turn on two lights to take the photos of the plants.

Morgan is so cute!

The chickens are cold too.

Most of them stayed inside the coop today.

Maybe because it was cold and dark.

I want rain so I can light the wood stove!
