Treadle Book

This is the beginning of my book of information about my
New Home Treadle Sewing Machine.
Marion sent me files that I printed out of
The New Home Sewing Machine Manual.
I can't read the pages very well
so I transcribed the pages
and will print them out and keep them
in this book along with the manual.

Marion has some wonderful photos of her treadles
on her blog here and has been very generous
and helpful with sending me the manual
and information about restoring my treadle.
A very sweet lady.

It is still raining and snowing on the other end of town.
I have started another list of the foods I am eating every day
to see if I can come up with a food trigger that is causing
the migraines to occur.

Smiles

Oh, what memories reading about your treadle machine has brought back. I made my first sewing project, a skirt and blouse, on a treadle machine in home economics in junior high...I know...it's "middle school" now. The last girls to get their patterns and fabrics didn't get to use the new electric machines. We had the best fun using the old machines, though.
