Gee, that sounds like a carnival game.
We got a load of wood delivered today
Oak and Madrone
tossed in the shed to keep it dry.
This was the shed yesterday.
I think we may need more wood
this Winter.
So there will be more deliveries.
Usually we have big piles of wood
on the property
drying out over the Summer.
But this year was so dry
we really didn't want all that fuel
laying around.

While it might be expensive, that was undoubtedly a wise decision.
We need to do something like that for our wood. It just sits out.
Of course, our fireplaces are low on the list of things to fix, so for now we use propane heat.
