I raise some of those! I LOVE them. They can hold their weight with the larger gals any day.The eggs are about an inch and the yolks are so cute and tiny!!!!
The Serama is in the USA. http://www.seramacouncilofnorthamerica.com/ I know a few breeders that have A and B class birds. A and AA are the smallest. AA, which are not showable, will almost always be infertile.
I didn't know this either--But I guess that since everything else is smaller and cost more, why not chickens too? :-) I do hope you're feeling better Callie!
My sister has a small rooster like that; I just can't remember the name of them. Japanese, I think. They are cute. I prefer bigger chickens. I had to chase off a cat that was after my two month old biddies. TWO MONTHS. I was very unhappy with that cat.
