Super Moon 2012

The moon will be at Perigee tonight...? tomorrow... this week... soon...
It will appear 14% larger.

I love these old classic movies!
I used to watch them with delight in the 1940's
at the Saturday and Sunday matinees.

Strange things are supposed to happen...
I wonder if our chickens will start to lay?
It is so cloudy and rainy that I'm sure I won't be able to see the Super Moon.
But maybe the extra gravity pull will affect the chickens?
More eggs?

It's raining again.

I'm not good at taking photos in the rain...
I'm always worried my camera will get wet.

That limb is ready to crack and fall down.
It will smash the fence when it goes.

The chickens don't seem to mind the rain as long as it is not pouring.

4 eggs yesterday

I hope I can see the 'super moon', it is supposed to clear up some here, so if there is no clouds... Yay!

We are having rain in Maine too. Loving the rich green grass that is growing from it. I will have to check out the moon later tonight.

I'm looking forward to and hoping to get to see the super moon. We were suppose to have clear skies, but now they are forecasting rain. I hope they are wrong. It was pretty bright the past couple of nights.

There just has to be some magic in a 'super moon'. I refuse to believe otherwise and can't wait to see what it brings. Love your blog!

I remember the kids used to be a bit scared of the moon when it was at this phase because of its size, I just love the moon in all its shapes and sizes, maybe because I have cancer rising. lol

It was clear as a bell here and hte super moon was magnificent. So...did the gravity pull the eggs right outta your chickens??? Heeehehehe!

Loved the videos sweetie.

God bless and have yourself a wonderful Mother's Day! :o)

Nezzy... Sorry to report that the Super Moon hasn't had much of an affect on the hens. Only three eggs yesterday.

Happy Mother's Day!!!
