 November Thankful Quote

To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
William Blake - Auguries of Innocence

I'm grateful for my sight.
I have lost a bit in one eye, but that makes me even more thankful.

Today's riddle:
Always invisible, but never out of sight. What are they?

The answer to yesterdays riddle is: the #7 on a phone.

I love living up here on the mountain and being able to see for such long distances out across the mountain tops. Well, I can do that when I ever leave the property and get out to the side of the mountain. Otherwise, I'm surrounded by trees, which suits me just fine. I love living in the woods.

[1 egg today]
I think it is an Australorp that is laying,
but Kristine thinks it is
a Wyandotte?

Dear Aunt Jean died unexpectedly this morning.
We're all a little in shock.
Hope you are at peace Jean. We'll remember you always.

Sorry for your loss.

Australorps are the most amazingingly gentle hens and great layers...my favorites.
