Roofing Progress And Strange Plant

These two photos of the roofs were taken this hot sweltering afternoon.

The small roof is almost finished
except for putting the skylight back.

The roofers are hoping the A-frame roof will be
in the shade when they get back from lunch.

The roofing job has been held up because of the
thunder and lightning storms and rain forecasts.
No fun being on a roof when there are lightening strikes.

The green leaves in the photo are of a tomato plant
and some strange plants that I can't identify...
the leaves with the smooth edge.

I thought they might be sunflowers
but my neighbor said no and I don't know?

I guess I will just let the plants grow and see what happens!
Would be nice if the tomato plants made some tomatoes
but not much sun reaches these beds.

Next year I'm switching to shade plants!

I like your pictures, I have had the same problem with shaded area's. I moved my pepper plants to a different location and it is too shaded, no peppers this year.

A new roof! I love your home. I just wanted to let you know that if you go back to my website, Callie, I have posted my email address, thank you for noticing that I didn't have order information on the site. I am new to the business type website. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience! South View Weavers, is new and I have been trying to get the business going and I was going to do a regular website but decided to do it in the blog format. I might still change it but it cost to do a site and this way, at least until I start selling things will work. Let me know if you need anything else or if you have some suggestions!
