Raising Two Puppies - Day 2

The puppies slept quietly together
all through the night
in a dog crate.

Well, in and out of the crate.
We left the crate open
so they could sleep on the floor
if they got too warm.

Only one puddle on the floor
at 6am.
The plan was to take them
out before any puddle action
took place.

Tonight the puppies
will have the crate door shut.
And the crate placed where it
will not be too warm.

Hopefully, I will be able to take
the puddle makers
outside before they
perform.

I will try to take more photos
and post them later today.

It's later...
Items of interest:

- Tamales for dinner.
- Washcloth with evidence
showing the importance
of face washing
after puppy licks.

So far today the puppies have:
chewed on leaves and sticks,
the fence, deer poo,
gone through the fence,
came back under the gate,
(good puppies)
mouthed a mushroom,
(I got there to stop any biting)
and met our neighbor
(Lucky puppies received many tickles and hugs)

Banner sniffing for lunch.

So cute!

The Puppies Are Home

These two Cardigan Corgi puppies
arrived at their new home today.

Kristine's puppy is the one in back.
She hasn't decided on a name.
The blue merle puppy in front
is my puppy.
His name is Banner.

The puppies are tired and are sleeping now.

They are so cute.
Just darling!
So good.

I've been thinking that we should get
some new chickens
in a few months so the puppies
can grow up with the chicks
and will want to protect them.
Herd them?

The corgis will want to be working dogs
but we have too many fears
of the coyotes and foxes
to leave the corgis outside
to watch over the chickens.

Perhaps we would need a protection dog
for the corgis and the chickens?

More photos soon...

Merry Christmas To All

Have a wonderful day!

We three will be waiting in hopes
for Santa to bring
some snow.
?
We might get some?

Tomorrow we will
celebrate
with
Christmas Tacos
and
Quesadillas for breakfast.
Lunch?
How neat is that!

The vote was for tacos
over the traditional Christmas fare.

We love tacos!
Works for us.

Wishing you a loving
happy day!

shoe laces and tags.
